Nimonic 80A
Nickel-chromium alloy precipitation hardened with titanium and aluminium, the classic exhaust valve and gas turbine blade grade. Good oxidation resistance and high creep strength to about 815 °C.

Behaviour that matters in service
- Creep strength — Holds load to about 815 °C, which is why it stayed the exhaust valve standard for decades.
- Oxidation resistance — Forms a protective oxide at temperature without internal attack.
- Age hardening — Solution treated around 1080 °C and aged at 700 – 750 °C.
- Fabricability — Forged and machined conventionally; welded with matching filler and post-weld age.

Melted in our own furnaces, tested in our own laboratory, and released with a certificate that matches the stamping on the bar or plate.
