Nimonic 90
Nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy age hardened with titanium and aluminium, giving higher creep strength than 80A and service capability to roughly 920 °C. Used for turbine blades, discs and hot bolting.

Behaviour that matters in service
- Creep strength — The cobalt addition lifts rupture strength above 80A in the 700 – 920 °C band.
- Oxidation resistance — Stable oxide scale in continuous service and under thermal cycling.
- Age hardening — Solution treated near 1080 °C, aged at 700 – 750 °C.
- Fabricability — Forgeable and machinable; welding needs matching filler and post-weld ageing.
Typical applications
- Turbine blades — Blades and vanes for industrial and aero gas turbines.
- Discs and rings — Rotating components in smaller turbine sections.
- Hot bolting — Fasteners for turbines and high-temperature flanges.
- Furnace hardware — Supports and fixtures in the 800 – 900 °C range.

Melted in our own furnaces, tested in our own laboratory, and released with a certificate that matches the stamping on the bar or plate.
