Inconel
Nickel-chromium and nickel-chromium-iron superalloys that hold strength and resist oxidation from cryogenic temperatures up to roughly 700–1,250 °C, depending on grade. Inconel 718 is the workhorse for high-strength parts, 625 for corrosion plus fabrication, 600 and 690 for heat and nuclear service, and 602CA for the hottest furnace hardware.
