Nickel alloy forgings
Open-die forgings, forged bar and rings in 28 grades, from our own melt through to the finished forging and its certificate.
Melted in our own furnaces in Shanghai, tested in our own laboratory, and released with a certificate that matches the marking on the material. EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, with chemistry, mechanical results and heat-number traceability.

Three things that change the price
The same grade in the same form can differ by a wide margin on these three points alone.
Forging reduction ratio is a quality claim, not a size claim.
The amount of work put into the section is what closes porosity from the ingot. Ask for the reduction ratio on the certificate if the part is safety-related.
Forgings come under their own standards.
ASTM B564 covers nickel alloy forgings; the bar standard does not substitute for it. The distinction matters at goods-in.
Test pieces from the forging, not from the stock.
Where the specification requires test pieces from a prolongation or from the forging itself, say so — it changes the cut plan and the price.
Forgings: questions buyers ask
Drawn from the same grade data as the table above.
What forging sizes can you supply?
Open-die forgings, forged bar, rings and tube sheets. Send the finished envelope and the inspection requirements and the quote comes back against a forging route rather than a stock size.
Which grades are available as forgings?
28 grades are listed against a forging standard in our data, covering the Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel, Nimonic and stainless families.
Do you supply forgings with third-party witness?
Yes. SGS, BV, Intertek or your own inspector can witness testing and marking before shipment.
Send the grade, the size, the quantity.
We will quote forgings against your specification, including lead time, inspection level and documents.
