Grade cross-reference
The same alloy is bought under a UNS number in the United States, a Werkstoff number in Germany and Europe, and a GB designation in China. This table maps all 38 grades we melt, so you can find the page that matches the designation on your drawing.

A dash means we have no published equivalent for that system. Absence is deliberate: a designation nobody can verify is worse than no designation at all.
What a cross-reference does and does not mean
Three sentences that save most of the argument that follows a non-conforming delivery.
A designation is a range
A UNS number or a Werkstoff number fixes a chemistry window and a set of mechanical limits. It does not fix the heat treatment your part received, nor the section size it was tested at.
Equivalent is not identical
Two standards covering "the same" alloy can differ in a residual element limit or a permitted tolerance. When both are named on a purchase order, confirm which one governs before the heat is melted.
The certificate is the record
What settles an inspection is the EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 document, with chemistry, mechanical results and the heat number traced to the marking on the product.
Ask before you substitute
If the grade you need is not on this list, send the designation and the application. We will tell you which of the 38 we would quote, and which we would not.
Send the designation, the size, the quantity.
We will confirm the equivalent we hold in stock and quote against your specification.
